BRING YOUR DOGS...they're welcome to come & socialize!! We're fundraising for The Barking Lot's new facility which will enable us to save more furry friends!! $10 donation appreciated!!

DOGGIE STREET FESTIVAL 2009

15 DOGS found their FOREVER HOMES...

at the 1st Annual Doggie Street Festival on March 1, 2009...simply astounding!!  It was a huge success!!!  Thanks to the organizers of this terrific event & our amazing volunteers...

Dawn who made delectable doggie treats, Bruce who snapped endearing photos, Margo who screened applicants to her big heart's content,Morgan who walked Balto & friends around the park about 18 times,Cat who got out of bed at the crack of dawn, transported dogs  & then stayed all day keeping things organized,Jesse who was always there cool as a cucumber when needed, Holly & Bryan who were there until the bitter end making sure the dogs had a ride home,  & Ernie, Olivia, Mike, Trish, Tori, Lauren, Leslie, Justin, Marissa, Chantal, Jeevika, Trina, Arijan, Pam, Breann, Heather, Christine & Mary who handled dogs, kept them exercised, watered, shaded & happy...I am eternally grateful!!!  You helped to save another 15 lives!!

at 3rd Annual Cupids & Canines event on February 14, 2009 sponsored by San Diego Animal Support Foundation.  Thanks to our wonderful volunteers (Pearl, Trina, Margo & Kim) who made sure each Barking Lot pooch felt like the apple of someone's eye and went home sparkling after each getting a bath at DUNK N DOGS DOG WASH!  Thanks to you all their Valentine's Days were full of kisses, cuddles and forever families!

5 DOGS found their FOREVER HOMES... 

at the CAMP BOW WOW 3rd Annual Pawsitively Yours adoption event on February 7, 2009.  Don't mind that we almost got rained out...he resourceful gang at Camp Bow Wow just moved us inside where a fun time was had by all...especially Handsome Sampson, our one-eyed wonder, who decided to plant himself in the doorway and great all people coming & going. Thanks to our volunteers, Margo & Lisa, 5 dogs found yappy endings with thier forever families!
